After semi-recovering from the shock and disappointment from the forced cancellation of our Bora Bora/Moorea trip, we had one night to kill before departing for Santiago, so...we figured a night out in Hollywood might help us get our groove back! Paul picked our hotel, the Roosevelt, as he loved it when he went to it on a past trip for work. It was very cool, but no big celebrity parties scheduled during our visit. After walking around Hollywood and West Hollywood in the afternoon/early evening we settled on dinner at Asia de Cuba, a restaurant we really wanted to try. Paul had been there for drinks in the past, but never for dinner. The setting was wonderful and the food fantastic. We had a great table overlooking the Hollywood Hills and the pool bar which was really nice. After dinner we checked out a couple of bars, one at the Standard Hotel and then the Chateau Marmont. Unfortunately, Chateau Marmont was so smokey I couldn't take it and we had to leave shortly after arriving, so no Lohan sighting. HA HA!
