Part of one of our full day excursions was to visit a Chilean Winery in the Casablanca Wine Valley. The tour was interesting and the vineyard grounds were stunning to look at, but the wine tasting was definitely the highlight!!

Chile Part 3: In Search of the Superbowl

Paul's one request was that we find a place in Santiago where we could catch the Superbowl. We managed to find an "American stayle" sports bar of sorts called "Publicity" that achieved our goal of watching the game. In retrospect, I wish Paul had been wishing for a place to watch the game with good (or even DECENT) food, as this was probably the only bad meal we had on our trip--oh well. I also made Paul snap some pics after he told me about the funny pictures on the men's bathroom!

Chile Part 2: Exploring Santiago: San Cristobal, the National Zoo and Bohemian Bellevista

We just loved exploring Santiago--definitely the cleanest and most modern of the South American cities we have been to. We also checked out the largest shopping mall in South America and a number of neighborhoods on our first couple of days in the city!
